VILLA PLAYA SHAMAN
Project Details

This tropical villa is only 1000 square feet/100 square meters of construction, but it has lots of charm and is infused with details from Bali, Indonesia. It sits on a tiny lot just 800 meters from Playa Shaman in Bahia Ballena/Uvita, in the heart of the Pacific Coast within the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica.
There are 4 different types of Tropical Hardwoods we used in the construction of this villa, such as Ulin (Ironwood) from Indonesia, Pochote, Cedro Amargo (Bitter Cedar), and is wrapped with Eucalyptus. This gives it a warm, tropical feeling. A small villa loaded with charm.
The flooring is Acid Washed Marble from Bali, the outdoor decking is Indonesian Ironwood, and the pool is decorated with with Sukabumi Stone, Candi Stone, and Anthracite grey tiles. This gives the charming little villa its hybrid tropical look, which feels right at home amongst the Howler Monkeys and Parrots that inhabit this mangrove swamp ecosystem at Playa Shaman.
